Division of Undergraduate and Initial Licensure Programs
IWU offers a number of teacher licensure and non-licensure programs to help you obtain your initial teaching licensure, add an additional licensure, or expand your learning related to the teaching field.
Division of Graduate and Advanced Licensure Programs
We offer a variety of Professional Development courses for the ongoing professional development of P-12 teachers, including Continuing Studies and Performance Learning Systems (PLS), and even Add-On Electives.
Divison of Liberal Arts
In the Division of Liberal Arts, we provide students with foundational education opportunities that are applicable to a variety of degrees. Whether you’re just starting your college journey, still deciding on the type of degree you want, or looking to create your own career path – we have a program that will suit your needs.
Our generous transfer policy means that eligible students may be able to enter a program at IWU in advanced standing, shortening their time to degree completion and saving them money on their education. IWU’s partnerships with other institutions also provide pathways to bachelor’s degree completion, resulting in an easier transition to IWU.
The Educator Preparation Programs at IWU provide data for Annual Reporting Measures for both initial and advanced state licensure. These programs report annually providing information about program completers, including data regarding their impact on P-12 learning and development, teacher effectiveness, the satisfaction of completers and employers, Title II data, and other measures.
