Anne Decker

Ed.D.; M.Ed.

Dr. Anne Decker holds an M.A. from MidAmerica Nazarene University and an Ed.D. with a cognate in Adult Education from Regent University. She joined the IWU faculty in 2003 after a career in various school positions. She taught communication and English courses at the college level from 1991 to 1996 in Ghana and has also taught elementary and middle school in Florida, Indiana and Kansas. Prior to coming to IWU, she served as the education department chair at Hobe Sound Bible College.

INTERESTS

Dr. Decker's research includes brain-based learning and distance learning curriculum, and she has presented at numerous conferences and authored book chapters on the subjects. Dr. Decker most often teaches curriculum theory and design and supervises the students' development of their Applied Master's Portfolio. She also serves on various college committees.
