Faculty Profile
Benjamin Linger is an assistant professor of Chemistry in the School of Physical and Applied Sciences. He completed his Bachelor's of Science degree in Chemistry at Mount Vernon Nazarene University in 1999 and received his doctorate in Biochemistry from Purdue University in 2005. Following graduate school, he was a postdoctoral research associate in the Cancer and Cell Biology Department at the University of Cincinnati before starting at Indiana Wesleyan University in 2010.
Professor Linger's primary research interest is the functional analysis of telomeres, protective complexes at the ends of linear chromosomes in eukaryotic organisms. His specific focus is
