Since completing the program and becoming certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) in 2007, Dr. Brady has gained invaluable experience in the arena of urgent care.  In 2006, she focused her knowledge and personal experience as a student into a new career path that included teaching in the MSN program at Indiana Wesleyan University. In 2011, Dr. Brady transitioned to a full-time assistant professor for the Indiana Wesleyan University, School of Nursing, Pre-Licensure program and is now a full professor. She graduated from Valparaiso University with her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in 2014. Dr. Brady’s DNP project was born out of her teaching desire to see all students succeed in the critical area of medication administration, calculation, and management. Dr. Brady continues to pursue research in a variety of nursing topics and enjoys presenting at local and national conferences.
