Dr. Ro is an Assistant Professor of Marriage and Family Counseling/Therapy program at Indiana Wesleyan University. She received her bachelor's degree in Child Studies from Seoul Women’s University and earned her master's degree and a doctorate degree in Marriage and Family therapy from Texas Tech University.

Her research interests includes couples therapy, self of the therapist training and supervision, and MFT training in the multicultural context.
