Faculty Profile
Jessie Pablo joined her alma mater of Indiana Wesleyan University in 2015 as full time Faculty and the Field Director for the Bachelors in Social Work Online Program. Previously, Jessie worked in the field of social work as a case manager and educator for at-risk families in both prevention and intervention services focused on child welfare. She holds a License in Social Work (LSW) in Indiana since 2015. Professor Pablo received her undergraduate degree from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2011 and Masters in Social work from Roberts Wesleyan College, Rochester, NY in 2012. In 2023, Professor Pablo started her DSW at University of Kentucky and anticipates her graduation in 2026. Her DSW concentration is Administration & Leadership and her research focus in on childhood trauma.
Professor Pablo’s professional interests and passions are in alignment with mitigating the impact of ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences), breaking generational cycles, and alleviating the burden of poverty. Her desire is to reduce trauma, increase resilience, and foster healthier communities and future generations. She also seeks to include the redemptive work of Christ in her interactions with all people.
When not teaching and practicing social work she loves to spend time with her husband and their 3 sons. She is also actively involved in her church and community. She enjoys traveling internationally and spending time in nature.
