Jonathan Conrad

Dr. Conrad is originally from Nova Scotia, Canada. He traveled throughout Europe and North Africa while serving as a missionary with Youth With A Mission. He taught high school for several years at Wheaton Academy in Chicago, before completing his doctorate in Political Science at Northern Illinois University. He has an active music ministry, which includes concerts in local churches, singing in community choir performances, and being part of the worship team in his local church.

INTERESTS

Dr. Conrad's primary interest is in the field of political theory; specifically, exploring the compatibility of ancient and modern political theories with biblical principles. To that end, his research tends to be more qualitative than quantitative.

His secondary interest is in the area of technology. He has recently begun to examine the intersection between technology and politics to understand how technology either contributes to or detracts from the good political life.
