Karla Ontiveros serves as Associate Professor of Education in the School of Professional Studies at Indiana Wesleyan University. God has so graciously provided for her diverse opportunities during her 14 years as an educator in Virginia's public schools. Professor Ontiveros has worked in some capacity with all grade levels PK-8 as a general classroom educator, Title I teacher, and as an instructional technology resource teacher. She hopes to convey to her students her passion for Christ and how He can work through every facet of your life including your vocation.

Professor Ontiveros's desire is that God would continue to use her in her current role to impact the lives of preservice teachers, teachers within the community, and the lives of children who will someday have the great fortune of having a Christian teacher.
