Dr. Paul Sung is Professor in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program in the School of Nursing and Health Professions at Indiana Wesleyan University. He received a Doctor of Health Science (DHSc) degree from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences as well as a PhD in Physical Therapy from Nova Southeastern University.

Dr. Sung has taught at several universities, including Des Moines University-Osteopathic Medical Center and University of Scranton. His teaching and research interests include the mechanisms of spinal dysfunction as well as non-operative spine care and its clinical application to neuromuscular control. His work has been published in numerous articles in the field of clinical biomechanics, spine, motion analysis, and motor control.

He was a recipient of the 2018 Richard Darnell Award as well as the 2019 Mabel E. Holton Award by the Michigan Physical Therapy Association for his outstanding leadership and research to both students and colleagues in the professional community.
