Faculty Profile
Dr. Priya Pockyarath is Assistant Professor in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Indiana Wesleyan University. She received a BA in Movement and Sports Science from Purdue University while competing for their NAIGC Gymnastics team. Dr. Pockyarath then attended Oakland University where she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy followed by a certificate in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy.
Previously, she was a treating Physical Therapist, Clinic Director, and Site Clinical Coordinator of Education for an out-patient orthopedic practice.
She is a Certified Clinical Instructor through the American Physical Therapy Association. Dr. Pockyarath recently started her own private practice with focus on treatment of athletes and active adults.
Dr. Pockyarath is currently enrolled in the PhD in Human Movement Science program at Oakland University.
