Dr. Brittney Millspaugh Storms is an Associate Professor and anatomist for the Doctor of Physical Therapy program, Occupational Therapy Doctorate program, and Master of Science in Athletic Training program. She earned both her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree and Master of Business Administration from Southwest Baptist University and completed a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Anatomy through Hardin-Simmons University. Dr. Storms is also a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Neurologic Physical Therapy through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties.

Dr. Storms has clinical experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with specialized interests in clinical neurology, vestibular dysfunction, and women’s pelvic health. Her research interests are diverse and include gait training following stroke and spinal cord injury, rehabilitation for esports athletes, community health education, and anatomical variation and education.

She is passionate about international healthcare and has participated in healthcare experiences and service initiatives in Peru, El Salvador, Ecuador, the Dominican Republic, Hong Kong, and Jamaica.

Outside of academia, Dr. Storms enjoys strength training, fitness, and spending time with animals. She is often seen walking her dogs on campus and also has a strong interest in true crime and history.
