Faculty Profile
Joe Childs has been serving as Professor (rank full) in the DeVoe School of Business, Leadership, and Technology since joining IWU in October 2020. He also serves as the Executive Director of Innovation Projects and provides academic leadership to our 3,000 international students and has pioneered the DeVoe Entrepreneurial Experience business core initiative.
Prior to joining he served as the Dean of the College of Business and Legal Studies at Southeastern University in Lakeland, FL and Associate Dean, and Chair, Business Department at Bethany University in Scotts Valley, CA.
Joe also maintains a consulting and executive coaching practice and has worked on accounts for major corporations based in Silicon Valley as well as coaching entrepreneurs and leaders from a variety of industries.
