Dr. Mike Tapper joined the School of Theology and Ministry in 2024 as Professor of Theology.

He brings a love for the church and a desire to bridge the practical and the academic, having served The Wesleyan Church as both a pastor and a professor. His research focuses on the relationship between the worship music industry and local worship practitioners. His groudbreaking work with the Worship Leaders Research collaborative team has been published widely.
