Dr. Nate Kitzmiller is an Assistant Professor of Chemistry within the Division of Natural Sciences at Indiana Wesleyan University where he teaches chemistry. He specializes in physical chemistry and computational quantum chemistry. He earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Indiana Wesleyan University and a doctorate from the University of Georgia in 2024 under the supervision of Dr. Fritz Schaefer. Nate rejoined Indiana Wesleyan University in July of 2024.

Dr. Nate Kitzmiller’s primary research interests include computing physical properties of chemical systems using highly accurate ab initio quantum chemistry theory and increasing the efficiency of the computational methods.
