Professor Barnard brings her passion for music and her excitement for the profession to the IWU Music Therapy program. She is responsible for teaching most of the music therapy classes as well as overseeing the supervision of students during their pre-clinical training.

Prior to coming to IWU, Professor Barnard served as a clinician for various populations, most recently hospice. She is very involved within both the regional and national level of the American Music Therapy Association and has presented both on the benefits of music therapy in various arenas.
