Renee Lehrian

Renee Lehrian graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in 1993 with a Bachelor's in Nursing and in 2013 received her Master’s in Nursing Education from Indiana Wesleyan University.  Immediately after graduation from her bachelor's degree, she started working on the Telemetry/Med-Surgical floor at Marion General Hospital.  After two years she transitioned to NICU at Marion General Hospital.  She also worked Postpartum and Labor and Delivery for 5 years.

Lehrian transitioned to teaching in a local LPN program and taught there for 13 years prior to coming to Indiana Wesleyan University. Currently, she teaches Maternity Nursing, Nutrition and Pharmacology courses at the sophomore level, Transcultural Nursing at the junior level, and is a preceptor for Community Nursing students at the senior level.

She had the privilege of leading the Haiti semester abroad program in 2016. Additionally, she has led transcultural practicums to Appalachia and Bulgaria.

Renee is active in her church as a parish nurse. She and her husband Tom have two sons, Collin and Ian.
