Professor Matter serves as Assistant Professor in the DeVoe Division of Business teaching management-related courses such as Foundations of Business, Business Ethics and Organizational Behavior. Professor Matter is also an attorney licensed in the state of Indiana and teaches Business Law and Advanced Business Law. His professional career spans over 25 years in higher education administration focusing on operations, regional expansion, regulatory compliance and legal affairs. He has a passion for teaching and helping students understand the practical application of the classroom topics. He helps students find God in every-day business topics cementing the reality that God is present in every classroom, every lecture and every topic.

INTERESTS

Professor Matter’s scholarship interests include First Amendment, Employment and Intellectual Property Law as well as a variety of teaching & learning topics such as effective classroom technologies and creating collaborative and engaging learning environments.
