Steven Tripp

Associate Professor

Natural Sciences

Ph.D.

Steven Tripp is an assistant professor of Chemistry in the School of Physical and Applied Sciences. He received his Ph.D. in Chemistry from Purdue University in 2003 and was a postdoctoral research associate, first in the Department of Physics at Purdue University and then in Industrial and Physical Pharmacy at Purdue University before starting at Indiana Wesleyan University in 2007.

INTERESTS

Professor Tripp's research interests are based in the fundamental understanding of physical and chemical properties of pharmaceutical solids, with applications to drug formulation and accurate prediction of shelf-life. His research interests also include solid-vapor interactions, solid-state degradation kinetics, and solid-state drug characterization.
