Faculty Profile
Vonda Bradt is an Assistant Professor of Exceptional Needs Education for Indiana Wesleyan University. Professor Bradt received her B.S. degree from Cincinnati Christian University and her M.Ed. from University of Cincinnati.
Professor Bradt is a sign language interpreter in schools in the Cincinnati, Ohio, community. She has mentored interpreters for schools and church services. She served as a Deaf and Hard of Hearing teacher in the Cincinnati, Ohio region and rural Indiana.
While teaching students with exceptional needs, Vonda developed authentic, compliant transition plans for high school students. Many of the plans were used as exemplars in training other teachers. She has also presented on the effects of brain trauma.
