Spiritual Formation Specialization

Indiana Wesleyan University proudly presents the Spiritual Formation specialization, an innovative program designed for individuals passionate about deepening their understanding of Christian spirituality and its application in today's world. Offered through Wesley Seminary, this unique specialization is crafted to empower students to critically interpret current and emerging spiritual trends and practices through the lens of Christian theologies of spiritual formation. By enrolling in this program, you commit to a journey of exploring and embodying Christian spiritual practices, preparing you to lead and nurture spiritual growth in others.

Our Spiritual Formation track is structured to provide you with a solid foundation in the principles of spiritual formation, coupled with the flexibility to tailor your learning experience to your interests and ministry context. The program requires completion of 12 hours, including three core courses that cover essential topics in spiritual formation, and one elective from a curated list of courses designed to enhance your understanding and practical application of spiritual disciplines.
