Come challenge your musical theatre skills in a supportive and nurturing environment at IWU Musical Theatre Camp! Students will interact with professional directors, vocal coaches, and collaborative pianists to take their performing and auditioning skills to the next level.
The daily schedule will include audition prep, acting classes, movement and dance exercises, musical and character analysis, character development, master classes, and one-on-one vocal coaching. The week will culminate in a musical theatre showcase performance.
After registration, attendees will be sent instructions on how to submit a placement portfolio to be personally assigned appropriate music and roles for the week.

Cost includes resident hall lodging, three meals a day, snacks, and all major aspects of the camp. Our dining hall has many options for those with food allergies. However, we encourage you to bring appropriate snacks since not all snack options will meet all dietary needs.
Note: The $50 non-refundable registration fee is due at the time of registration. No student will be considered registered until they have submitted this fee. Balance of tuition and fees are due by May 31, 2025. Any registrations after June 1, 2025 will incur an additional $50 late registration fee.
Dr. Tammie Huntington and Dr. Lisa Moore are both Professors of Music at Indiana Wesleyan University where they co-direct the Lyric Theatre Program and teach Applied Voice and related Lyric Theatre Studies. In their 15 years of working together, they have directed or music-directed numerous operas and musical productions on campus, including Beauty and the Beast; Nunsense; Godspell; Guys and Dolls; Pirates of Penzance; Into the Woods; You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown; Little Women; The Mikado; and more! Huntington and Moore emphasize cross-training in the vocal studio, preparing students to sing healthfully in a variety of styles, from classical to belt. Their students may be found on off-Broadway tours, cruise ships, at Blue Gate Theatre, Beef-n-Boards Theatre, Wagon Wheel Theatre, the Kennedy Center, Kansas City Opera, Chicago Lyric Opera, the Metropolitan Opera, and Paris Opera in addition to other local, regional, and national venues.
Huntington and Moore each received their Doctor of Arts degrees in Vocal Performance from Ball State University where they met on the opera stage in Puccini’s Suor Angelica. Together with their colleague Dr. Phoenix Park-Kim, they formed the ensemble Soprani Compagni, and have commissioned new works for 2 sopranos and piano, publishing a 2-volume anthology of art music for soprano duet. Soprani Compagni made their Carnegie Hall debut in 2012, and have traveled the world presenting and performing in Argentina, Hong Kong, China, Korea, and Sweden, in addition to multiple venues across the United States. Soprani Compagni may be heard on all major music streaming platforms.
