From Bo...

Hello! My name is Bo Mullett and I have the privilege of serving students in northern Indiana. I graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2018 with degrees in Business Administration and Marketing, as well as a minor in Christian Studies.

From the moment I stepped on campus as a freshman, this community has been like a second home to me. I love being an admissions counselor because I get to help students navigate some of the most exciting decisions of their lives and help them find the right path to reach their full potential. IWU has some of the best opportunities for students to get involved with what they are passionate about, make lifelong friendships, and learn and grow personally, professionally, and spiritually.

This time can be overwhelming for students, but I hope to help make the process exciting and rewarding. Please let me know how I can support and serve you!

A Bit About Bo

The community. Both as a student and a staff member, everyone who is a part of this community genuinely cares about each other and wants to see each other grow and reach their full potential.
Intramurals and Clubs. I participated in flag football, basketball, and volleyball as a student, as well as community events like Campus Golf and Lodgeball. I also worked as a desk worker in my residence hall, and for the radio station. There is so much to be a part of at IWU and I love being able to meet people through different activities.

Being an Admissions Counselor gives me the opportunity to help students navigate their decisions to help them reach their full potential.

The community really cares about one another. You’re not just a student here. Every member of faculty and staff at IWU genuinely cares about your personal and professional growth and help to prepare you for life beyond IWU.
I am always inspired by those who are great at what they do, but are also focused on connecting with people and creating a space where they can come together with others and feel at home. I find the celebrity culture fascinating because so much of what they do is focused on connecting with masses of people and making them feel something, whether through movies, music, conversation, etc.
I love watching movies and tv shows. Sitcoms like The Office, New Girl, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine are my favorites. I also love going to events like concerts and sporting events, and cheering on the Colts whenever they are playing.
Get involved as much as you can. There are so many opportunities at IWU, and getting involved with things you are interested in or just want to try can lead you to some of the best experiences and relationships you’ll have for the rest of your life.
