• Incoming high school graduates must be a 21st Century Scholar with a cumulative high school grade point average of 3.0 or higher and be PELL eligible.
• Incoming transfer students must be a 21st Century Scholar with a cumulative college grade point average of 3.0 or higher and be PELL eligible.

Enrollment Requirements: Full-time enrollment in fall and spring semesters. The 21st Century Scholarship is for new students enrolling in the fall of 2024 on the IWU-Marion campus.

Grant Amount Details: The 100% scholarship is comprised of all sources of aid (Indiana Wesleyan University gift aid and external aid sources such as federal and state grants) students are eligible to receive.

Application Process: File the FAFSA by April 15 for the following fall semester. FAFSA corrections must be made by May 15. Student must have initially signed up for the program during grade 6, 7, or 8 at a school in Indiana.

Eligibility Requirements: Student must be an Indiana resident and a U.S. citizen or eligible noncitizen. Student must be a high school graduate and must sign and mail his or her Twenty-first Century Scholars pledge affirmation to the state by March 10 prior to fall semester college enrollment.

Application Process: Applications must be completed and submitted to the Financial Aid Office. Students must apply for all state and federal grants for which they are eligible, excluding loans, and must also apply for any external scholarships.

Eligibility Requirements: Students must be under the age of 23 and dependents of full-time paid employees with full benefits of a cooperating coalition institution.

Filing Deadline: The application for Tuition Exchange must be received prior to January 15 for the following fall semester. If there are spaces for spring, applications must be received by Oct. 1.

Renewal Requirements: Recipients must submit before May 1 of each academic year the continued eligibility form confirming their parent/guardian continues to be a full-time paid employee with benefits at the participating institution.

Special Rules: Students must be residents in the university-managed residence facilities and on full board from dining services. Additional Details

The Frank O'Bannon Grant includes both the Higher Education Award and the Freedom of Choice Award. The grant is designed to provide access for Hoosier students to attend eligible public, private and proprietary postsecondary institutions. Eligibility for the grant is based on financial need as determined by the FAFSA. The grant may be used toward tuition and regularly assessed fees.

We are pleased to offer this exclusive scholarship for residents of Grant County through the generosity of IWU donors. The funds used to create the Hodson and Scripture scholarship provide a financial pathway for local students desiring an on-campus experience at Indiana Wesleyan University.  

Application Process:  Students must apply for all state and federal grants for which they are eligible, excluding loans.

Eligibility Requirements: 

• Live in and attend a high school in Grant County (Indiana)
• A 2024 high school graduate
• Cumulative high school GPA of at least 2.6
• Enroll as full-time IWU student on the Marion campus for fall 2024

Scholarship Amount Details: Students meeting eligibility requirements will receive a $16,000 Scholarship (awarded as $4,000 annually.) This scholarship will be awarded in addition to eligible academic awards, federal aid, and state aid.

Eligibility Requirements: International Scholarship will be awarded to first-time incoming freshman and transfer international students. This scholarship replaces the academic scholarship with the exception of those meeting the academic scholarship requirements ranging from $11,000 to $16,000. Students meeting the higher academic scholarship criteria will have the $10,000 International Scholarship replaced by the higher academic award.

Renewal Requirements: In order to receive the four-year commitment, students must be enrolled full-time each year and meet SAP requirements to maintain institutional aid. This award is renewable up to a maximum of 8 semesters.

You must teach for at least four academic years within eight calendar years of completing the program of study for which your received a TEACH Grant. If you fail to complete this service obligation, all TEACH Grant funds that you received will be converted to a Federal Direct Unsubsidized Stafford Loan; you must then repay the total amount to the U.S. Department of Education and will be charged retroactive interest from the date the grant was disbursed. We encourage only those students who believe they can fulfill this service obligation to accept this fund.

Additionally, students must successfully complete at least 24 credit hours within the student-specific 12-month period for which the prior Indiana State Grant award was made.  Students must continue to meet all eligibility requirements.

Enrollment Requirements: Eligible students must be enrolled full-time for each student-specific Indiana State Grant term.

The Behavioral Health Workforce Education and Training (BHWET) is an inter-departmental grant offered to SON PMHNP and Graduate Counseling students so they can serve in underserved and high needs areas utilizing trauma-informed care.

The BHWET grant awards $10,000 to five PMHNP recipients and ten Graduate Counseling students every year.

Eligibility: The applicant must be completing their first masters degree, be willing to serve in a high needs and/or underserved clinical location, complete weekly check-ins during their clinicals, and be willing to complete a survey of the grant experience one year after completion of the PMHNP program.

Eligibility Requirements: Questa Education Foundation assists individuals in attaining further education beyond high school, graduating with less debt, and becoming contributing members of Northeast Indiana’s workforce.  Questa offers low-interest forgivable loans that could be up to 75% forgiven. Questa serves individuals pursing further education throughout the 11 counties of Northeast Indiana including: Adams, Allen, DeKalb, Huntington, Kosciusko, LaGrange, Noble, Steuben, Whitley, Wabash and Wells. 

Indiana Wesleyan University is a contributing Payback Partner in the Questa Scholars Program; if all criteria are met, Questa Scholar recipients may borrow up to $20,000 and have up to 75% of the debt forgiven. Visit www.questafoundation.org for more information.
