What Will I Learn in a Bachelor of Information Technology Program?

This bachelor’s degree in IT develops foundational expertise within business technology concepts and applications, alongside a management approach to these areas. You’ll prepare to effectively integrate and maintain technology solutions in business and gain project management skills and learn to lead the IT project lifecycle—end to end. You’ll also explore the legal and ethical intersections with IT systems and processes and build out the skills needed to manage these touchpoints.

Applicable fees for resources and services will be assessed throughout the program. Tuition and fees for prerequisites and required elective courses are in addition to the charges shown on the program cost sheet. Your tuition rate will remain the same as long as you remain continuously enrolled in the same program. The estimated cost of attendance is available on the financial aid webpage. Program Requirements
  • Proof of high school graduation or GED certification.
  • Original transcripts from all previous college or university study at a college or university that is accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by both the U.S. Department of Education (ED) and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
  • Applicants with non-US academic credentials must demonstrate a US high school completion equivalency.
    • Indiana Wesleyan reserves the right to request an applicant submit a 3rd party evaluation for admission consideration. 3rd Party evaluations must provide degree equivalency and US-translated GPA. Course-by-course detail is required for transfer credit consideration. AICE and NACES member organizations accepted.
  • For applicants for whom English is not the primary language, proficiency requirements vary by educational background. An Enrollment counselor will contact applicants that require additional documentation of English proficiency exam scores.

  • Completion of 120 semester hours.
  • Completion of the required core courses with a GPA of 2.25 or higher.
  • Overall cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.
  • Completion of 30 hours of General Education Requirements as specified in the IWU Catalog.
  • Payment of all tuition and fees is required to receive a diploma.
