This bachelor’s degree in leadership develops your approach to leadership and service in this customizable program that lets you choose your foundational classes from seven different disciplines, including: Criminal Justice, Human Services, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Human Resources, Management and Human Relations. Tuition and fees for prerequisites and required elective courses are in addition to the charges shown on the program cost sheet. Your tuition rate will remain the same as long as you remain continuously enrolled in the same program. Program Requirements
  • Proof of high school graduation or GED certification.
  • Original transcripts from all previous college or university study at a college or university that is accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by both the U.S. Department of Education (ED) and the Council of Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
  • Prior completion of at least 60 transferable credit hours is required before the student is eligible to start a bachelor core program.
  • Completion of 120 semester hours.
  • Completion of the required core courses with a GPA of 2.25 or higher.
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.00 or higher.
  • Completion of 30 hours of general education requirements as specified (General Education Requirements).
  • Payment of all tuition and fees is required to receive a diploma.

Transfer/Assessed Credit Policy

Transfer credit for degree requirements for undergraduate programs within the College of Adult and Professional Studies may be granted as follows:

  • Credit must have been earned at a college or university that is accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by both the U.S. Department of Education (ED) and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) with a minimum grade of "C".
  • Courses must be approved by the School of Service and Leadership.
  • Credit documented on a JST or CCAF transcript for training received in any MOS, NEC system, AFSC, and Coast Guard Ratings. Assessed credit for degree requirements may be granted through IWU's assessment of prior learning.
