Our MS in English in Education is designed for practicing schoolteachers who desire to instruct advanced placement, dual enrollment, or early college courses, as well as deepen their understanding of English, language arts, and advanced educational classroom practice. Upon graduating from this program, you’ll have a deeper understanding of the history and structure of the English language and the theory and practice of rhetorical analysis, synthesis, and argumentation – all through the lens of a biblical worldview.
Note: Candidates must already be credentialed for teaching English/language arts in P-12 schools and/or community colleges, as this MS in English will not lead to initial or advanced state licensure in those areas.
