Associate's in Children and Family Ministries

The associate’s degree in Children and Family Ministries is designed for students passionate about sharing the love of Christ with children and helping families grow in faith together. A degree in Children and Family Ministries provides the necessary education for graduates to serve in local churches, with a focus on ministry with children and families. Graduates will be equipped to serve in a variety of Children and Family Ministries leadership roles, with the option to continue on to a bachelor’s degree program. Graduates with associate degrees will be prepared for Children and Family Ministries, further education, or other forms of ministry.

Throughout this Children and Family Ministries associate’s degree program, students will participate in classes such as Camp and Retreat Ministries, Methods of Teaching the Bible, Communication for Children and Family Ministries, and more. Additionally, this program is built on a foundation of spiritual formation, practical ministry, and biblical and theological studies to ensure students have the proper spiritual support to succeed.

STM is the home of the Imaginarium, a hub for generating new ways of experience the Christian life with children, teenagers, and young adults.
